 The ACCC is reviewing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and Twitch.

  • The ACCC will also investigate advertisers, marketers, and brands.
  • Each individual could face a fine of up to $1.78M.
  • The probe will cover influencers in fashion, cosmetics, food and beverage, travel, fitness, parenting, gaming, and technology.
  • Interm investigation results are expected to be ready by March 31, 2023.
