A16z, a venture capital firm, voted against Uniswap's v3 proposal for deployment on the BNB chain using the wormhole bridge.
The VC firm voted against the proposal due to disagreement over the LayerZero bridge platform.

Labs has submitted on behalf of Uniswap. The governance proposal aims
to deploy the latest Uniswap iteration on the BNB Chain.
- In a temperature check vote, 20 million (80.28%) voted yes, and 4.9 million (19.72%) voted no.

used 15 million UNI holdings to vote against the proposal by saying,
"we at a16z would have voted 15 million tokens toward LayerZero if we
were technically able to."
- a16z holds approximately 4% of the UNI token supply, which is enough to pass a proposal on its own.
- Only 4% is required for a quorum on governance proposals.
- Voting on the proposal runs until Feb. 10. So far, only 3% of UNI tokens, of which a16z's 15 million are a part, have voted.
