Life insurance company AIA is partnering with telehealth company WhiteCoat to provide digital corporate mental health solutions in Singapore.

They are expanding the "Think Well" solution to provide text, video, and in-person mental health coaching and support to AIA's corporate employee clients.

  • The "Think Well" solution will also offer "a dynamic and personalized" library of mental wellness resources.
  • According to the recent National Population Health Survey, more Singaporeans reported poor mental health than last year, especially the youth.
  • Another survey by Intellect, a Singaporean mental health company, revealed that workers in Singapore had worse mental health than in the Philippines and Indonesia.
  • According to WhiteCoat's CEO Bryan Koh, by creating the first insurer-backed text-based mental wellness service, the company aims "to positively impact workplace mental health through enhanced accessibility, convenience and privacy."
