Avocados from Mexico has decided against its original plan to use ChatGPT as part of its Super Bowl ad.

 The company had initially planned to use a QR code and generative AI as part of the ad.


  • The original plan was for the ad to have a QR code that would lead people to a landing page where customers could use ChatGPT to create a custom tweet about the company. 
  • A spokesperson for the company said that they tested Open AI's GPT-3 technology but decided not to use it. 
  • The company will still use a QR code as part of an interactive online ad. 
  • The commercial by Avocados from Mexico at this year's Super Bowl will star Anna Faris.
