SpaceX is "on track" to launch the Crew-6 astronaut mission for NASA from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday, Feb. 27, with liftoff set for 1:45 a.m. EST.
NASA and SpaceX held a prelaunch talk to examine the Crew Dragon Endeavour mission to the International Space Station (ISS) atop the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
Dana Weigel, deputy ISS program manager at NASA, stated that the Flight Readiness Review put SpaceX's Crew-6 mission "on track" for the Monday liftoff.
- Crew Dragon is scheduled to dock with the ISS early on Feb. 28, about 24 hours after the liftoff.
- Crew-6 will be the sixth crew rotation mission of SpaceX's human space transportation system and its seventh flight with astronauts.
- Dragon Endurance, another SpaceX spacecraft launched on the Crew-5 mission on Oct. 5, 2022, is already at the ISS.
- Registration is open for the Crew-6 virtual guest program, including a virtual guest passport stamp following a successful launch.
