- In 2022, the company partnered with PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) to introduce an authenticity guarantee service for trading cards sold on its platform.
- eBay acquired NFT marketplace Known Origin in June 2022 before buying online collectible card game marketplace TCG player later that year.
- "It is a top priority to help ensure that eBay remains a safe and trusted environment," said Zhi Zhou, chief risk officer at eBay, who added that "3PM Shield has been a valued and effective external partner in helping eBay tackle these challenges."
