Edison increases sample size

 

Ringer's "The Bill Simmons Podcast" earned the highest number of listeners in Q3 and Q4 2022 among sports podcasts, reported Edison Research.  Additionally, Edison is also increasing its sample size to include weekly podcast listeners aged 13-17.  The other top podcasts were "Pardon My Take" from Barstool Sports and "The Pat McAfee Show 2.0" from Pat McAfee Inc.  In Q4 2022, football was the favorite sport (29%) amongst weekly podcast listeners to watch live on TV or streaming video. Basketball came in second (14%), followed by soccer (9%).  However, among the new age group of 13-17-year olds, soccer is the favorite sport to watch live.
