Google Cloud has partnered with Redox, a Wisconsin-based company with an EHR integration and healthcare platform, to improve healthcare data interoperability.

This collaboration aims to streamline the exchange of healthcare data, enabling organizations to gain insights and make better and faster decisions.

The partnership allows organizations to migrate health data from legacy systems into Google Cloud's Healthcare Data Engine and Healthcare API, which provides a clearer overview of patient and staff needs.

  • Redox will create a version of its platform designed explicitly for Google Cloud to provide Google's customers with its full suite of products, services, and experiences.
  • Interoperability refers to the timely and secure access, integration, and use of electronic health data among two or more systems, which improves the flow and unification across multiple health systems and is imperative to achieving organizational efficiency.
  • Redox CEO Luke Bonney claims that "Redox and Google Cloud enable providers and health plans to maximize the use of their legacy system data in a single cloud database up to 80% faster than other solutions."
  • The collaboration has made Redox Healthcare Integration available on Google Cloud Marketplace.
