Hackers have leaked Activision's employee data list, which includes over 19,000 names.
The data was stolen in a previous hacking campaign in December 2022.
Hackers have stolen details such as:
- Full names,
- phone numbers,
- job titles,
- locations,
- and email addresses.
- The file that contains this data is being offered for free on hacker forums.
- Activision claimed that the hackers had not stolen sensitive information such as employee names, future video game title releases, source code, etc.
- The information is believed to have been stolen through a vishing scheme.
- Even though the company claims that it was able to stop the hacking campaign before it affected any of its employees, the data leak could prove that at least one employee may have fallen victim to the scam.
