Israeli healthcare-focused venture firm aMoon Fund is raising a second growth fund, with a target of closing the fund with $340M in commitments.
The news comes amidst the company's expansion in the U.S. as it opens an office in Boston.
Notable U.S.-based startups in its portfolio include DNA-sequencing startup Ultima Genomics and virtual healthcare provider Omada Health.
- Ultima secured $600M in total funding to date.
- AMoon debuted a $750M growth fund in March 2018 and followed it up with a $114M Velocity Fund I in March 2019.
- At the time, the firm aimed to write initial check sizes ranging from $10M to $20M, with follow-on funding sizes ranging from $40M to $50M.
