Kevin Costner's attorney

Kevin Costner's attorney Marty Singer fired back at a Puck News report blaming the actor for delaying work on "Yellowstone" Season 5.

According to Singer, allegations that Costner is only willing to show up for one week to shoot the second half of the season are "ridiculous" and "an absolute lie."

Deadline had previously reported on scheduling conflicts between "Yellowstone" producers and Costner, who's also working on a four-part Western film epic, "Horizon."

  • According to Deadline, "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan and Paramount Network are considering ways to continue the franchise without Costner, such as rebooting the series with Matthew McConaughey taking over the lead role.
  • Neither Costner nor Paramount responded to the Puck News report or Singer's response.
