London-based Sustainaholics, a sustainable product specialist within the travel industry, has extended its portfolio of independent sustainable spirits by including two new brands, Avallen Calvados and Penrhos.
Both Avallen, an apple brandy, and Penrhos, a gin made from waste fruit, use lightweight bottle alternatives to glass.
Avallen Calvados apple brandy comes in a paper bottle developed from recycled paper by the sustainable packaging brand, Frugalpac.
- It is bottled with no added sugar, caramel, or boisé.
- U.K.-based Penrhos gin is handcrafted from the Herefordshire farm’s ‘imperfectly perfect’ fruit and bottled in 100% recyclable, reusable, and refillable aluminum bottles.
- Sustainaholics was founded in 2021 to promote sustainability and ethical consumerism through a portfolio of independent sustainable brands, according to the company.
Recently, Sustainaholics launched sustainable spirits range with Tourvest Retail Services on High Life Shop, with other listings under consideration.
