The company announced the availability of the retro games during its Nintendo Direct event on Wednesday, when it shared what Switch games are coming this year.
- Nintendo launched a new trailer for "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom," which is the first $69.99 game from the company. It will launch for the Switch on May 12.
- The company debuted a remaster of the original "Metroid Prime" in the Nintendo eShop.
- It was revealed that "Pikmin 4" is coming to the Switch on July 21. The game will feature a dog-like animal named Oatchi to assist the player.
- Following delays, the strategy game "Advance Wars 1+2: Boot Camp" will release for the Switch on April 21.
