Nintendo is bringing Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games to its Switch Online subscription service. 

The company announced the availability of the retro games during its Nintendo Direct event on Wednesday, when it shared what Switch games are coming this year.


  • Nintendo launched a new trailer for "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom," which is the first $69.99 game from the company. It will launch for the Switch on May 12.
  • The company debuted a remaster of the original "Metroid Prime" in the Nintendo eShop.
  • It was revealed that "Pikmin 4" is coming to the Switch on July 21. The game will feature a dog-like animal named Oatchi to assist the player.
  • Following delays, the strategy game "Advance Wars 1+2: Boot Camp" will release for the Switch on April 21.
