Paramount Global is going to be combining Showtime and Paramount+.
The move comes as part of a broader initiative for Paramount Global to integrate its services and streamline its advertising network for ad partners.
- The integration will also see many shows, including Yellowjackets, Billions, and Dexter, which air on cable TV, be rebranded as Paramount+.
- Paramount+ currently has 46 million subscribers.
- The price for the combined platform has not been announced, but there is already a combined offer for the two at $11.99 a month. Showtime's streaming services are currently $10.99 a month.
- Paramount CEO said that the new platform will allow them to "drive deeper connections with consumers and greater value for distribution partners."
