PhonePe has raised a $100M Growth round to provide fintech services in India, reaching a $12B valuation.   The platform has over 400 million users. PhonePe is a mobile payments app that allows users to transfer money instantly to anyone by using just their mobile number. The company aims to use the money to invest in data centers and new business verticals such as insurance, wealth management, and lending. The company is based in Bengaluru, India. Founded in 2017, PhonePe has raised over $2B since its inception.
