ProsperOps secures $72M for cloud optimization

 

Texas-based cloud optimization startup ProsperOps has raised a $72M funding round led by H.I.G. Growth Partners.

 The company offers an autonomous cloud savings service that purports to increase AWS savings by an average of 68%. 

  • ProsperOps was founded in 2018 and has a platform that enables cost optimization for Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers. 
  • According to its website, ProsperOps creates and optimizes a portfolio of saving plans by aligning discount instruments to the ever-changing consumption needs to ensure that cloud services are not over-provisioned. 
  • Cloud commitments are said to automatically adapt to changing usage. 
  • The startup claims its platform provides enhanced cloud reporting and granular visibility by account, region, resource, and more. 
  • The company will use its fresh funds to hire more staff and add support for more public clouds.
