R-Zero has raised a $105M Series C funding round to make indoor shared spaces safer through UV light and AI-powered disinfection.

 The company is based in Utah.

  • R-Zero uses its technology to neutralize airborne and surface microorganisms and then collects data so that organizations can know how its spaces are being used and how to prevent health risks.
  • The company was backed by BMO Financial Group, Qualcomm Ventures, Upfront Ventures, DBL Partners, World Innovation Lab, Mayo Clinic, Bedrock Capital, SOSV, and angel investors.
  • The company aims to use the funds to scale across public and private sectors, including K-12 schools, college campuses, corporate campuses, hospitals, senior care communities, parks and recreation, etc.
  • Since its inception in 2020, the company has raised $170M.
  • R-Zero is headquartered in Salt Lake City.
