Tencent Cloud, China’s second-largest cloud provider, has partnered with Saudi mobile service provider Mobily to provide next-generation cloud solutions and services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Tencent joins a host of cloud companies that have recently expanded their footprint to KSA amid the country’s economic and social reform plan known as Vision 2030.
- Under the agreement, Mobily will be in charge of data center hosting, network links, and ICT infrastructure, while Tencent will deliver cloud solutions and services that include cloud virtual machine storage, network solutions, database, and media solutions.
- The collaboration will also provide KSA with Tencent Cloud Enterprise (TCE), which is marketed as a full-stack cloud platform built on Tencent cloud’s complete service system.
- TCE is lauded as a one-stop solution for enterprises thanks to its extensive capabilities and integrations, offering a mix of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud products.
