Tokyo-based Astroscale has raised a $76M Series G funding round to create sustainable space exploration devices. 

The company has raised over $376M in total funding.

Astroscale builds long-term sustainable orbits and other space exploration devices.

  • Its solutions can be used for:
    • active debris removal,
    • space situational awareness,
    • end-of-life satellite disposal, etc.
  • Mitsubishi Electric led the funding round, with Yusaku Maezawa, Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Mitsubishi Corporation, Development Bank of Japan, and FEL Corporation also participating.
  • The company has over 400 employees.
  • In addition to its headquarters in Japan, the company has offices in the U.S., U.K., and Israel.
