Irish actor Ciarán Hinds, who played the "King-Beyond-the-Wall" Mance Rayder in "Game of Thrones," joined the Amazon series in a recurring role, along with British actors Rory Kinnear and Tanya Moodie. No details on any of the trio's characters were revealed. Season 1 of "The Rings of Power" featured 23 actors in series regular roles. Other new cast members include Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, Calam Lynch, Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen “Zates” Atour, and Ben Daniels. "The Rings of Power" Season 2 comes to Prime Video in 2024.
