Actor Ryan Reynolds is poised to rake in over $300M after exiting his stake in Mint Mobile. 

T-Mobile announced it would acquire Mint Mobile for $1.35B in equity and stock deal last week. Reynolds owned a 25% stake in Mint Mobile, which could earn him as much as $340M. 

The deal is structured as 39% cash and 61% stock. 

  • Reynolds will continue to be involved in a creative capacity and likely maintain his role as a spokesperson for the brand. 
  • T-Mobile, the second largest wireless operator in the U.S., last acquired Sprint in 2020 for over $30B. 

Reynolds sold his gin brand Aviation Gin to Diageo for $610M in 2020.
