Adept raises $350M at unicorn valuation

 

Adept AI, a generated AI startup, raised $350M as part of its Series B, which sets its post-money valuation past $1B.  The news comes amid its competitor OpenAI releasing a GPT-4 demo and reports of Anthropic raising $300M at a pre-money valuation of $4.1B. Adept AI released ACT-1, an AI model that enables it to perform tasks, including website browsing and navigating software tools. The round was led by General Catalyst and Spark Capital. Last week, Salesforce Ventures launched a $250M generative AI fund.
