Leaf Agriculture, a California-based agtech provider, has made its Unified Farm Data API available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.
This collaboration between Leaf and AWS will provide data insights to food and agriculture companies in 150 countries.
- Leaf's technology provides access to consistent, aggregated, and standardized data from major machinery brands, tools to monitor crop data from satellite and drone imagery providers, and field-level weather data from all major weather data sources.
- Leaf's Unified Farm Data API pulls agricultural data from a network of agricultural providers to assist with farm management info systems, carbon marketplaces, agricultural financing, crop insurance, farmland valuation, and agronomic recommendations.
- The API also enables data insights that help with supply chain management, yield forecasting, crop monitoring, and more.
- Elizabeth Fastiggi, Global Head of Agriculture at AWS, says, "This collaboration will put the full weight of our resources, expertise, and reach to help Leaf scale and transform more food and agriculture businesses with the power of the cloud."
