During the Oscar ceremony, ABC aired a preview for the upcoming Disney+ series "American Born Chinese."
The series -- based on a graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang -- features
performances from three veterans of Best Picture winner "Everything
Everywhere All At Once": Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu.
- "American Born Chinese" centers on an everyday teenager who becomes entangled in a conflict between mythological Chinese gods.
- "Shang-Chi" vet Destin Daniel Cretton directed the series, which hits Disney+ on May 24.
- ABC also aired promos for new seasons of Hulu's "The Bear" and "Only Murders in the Building" and the theatrical live-action remake of "The Little Mermaid" during Sunday night's Oscar broadcast.
