Apple announced a new yellow color option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
The company typically launches a new color for its latest iPhone models in the spring, which can help increase sales during the halfway point of the phone's product cycle.
- The yellow version of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will open up for pre-orders this Friday, March 10, and be available online and in stores on Tuesday, March 14.
- It joins the existing colors of midnight (black), starlight, red, blue, and purple for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.
- The company noted that it's not releasing any new color options for the most expensive iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
- The Pro Max has been the most popular of all the iPhone 14 models. In September, October, and November, it was the best-selling smartphone out of any models worldwide.
- Apple introduced an Alpine green color for the iPhone 13 Pro models in 2022 and purple for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in 2021.
- Also today, Apple announced four new colors — Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky, and Iris — for its iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus silicone cases.
