Australian global cloud technology firm Kumulus has expanded to the U.S. with the debut of Kumulus ATOM Cloud, a desktop platform that can be run as a fully-managed or self-managed service.

 

Australian global cloud technology firm Kumulus has expanded to the U.S. with the debut of Kumulus ATOM Cloud, a desktop platform that can be run as a fully-managed or self-managed service.

 ATOM Cloud uses Microsoft RDS and Azure Virtual Desktop to deliver enhanced remote working capabilities. 

  • Kumulus has headquarters in Melbourne, Australia, Houston, U.S.A, and Manila, Philippines. 
  • According to its website, Kumulus has several cloud offerings designed to help customers streamline, scale, and secure their cloud infrastructure, including cloud assessments using the NetApp Cloud insights tool, cloud architecture that prevents third-party vendor lock-in, cloud optimization services that reduce cloud costs and improve operational agility by leveraging NetApp Cloud Software tools, and more. 
  • The company’s Cloud Virtual Desktop is said to have rapid deployment capabilities, MFA capable and gigabit connection speeds, and integrations with NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP to streamline data migration. It can be used to facilitate employee desktop management for remote teams.
