Bing sees 16% increase in visits

Bing has had a 16% increase in the number of users that visited the platform since it integrated GPT-4.

Google's number of visitors dropped by 1% in the same period.

  • Earlier this month, Microsoft confirmed that Bing had surpassed 100 million active users for the first time.
  • Bing saw nearly eight times more downloads during February and March 2023.
  • Considering that Google is used 89.3 billion times a month and has over 1 billion monthly users, taking 1% of its market share could still prove to be essential for Microsoft in its goal of dethroning Google as the search engine market leader.
  • In a recent interview, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that he expects the recent integration of ChatGPT into Bing to force Google to become more active in the field of chatbots.
  • Soon after, Google released its ChatGPT competitor named Bard.
