According to reports from a number of British tabloids, production on the Netflix film "Back in Action" has proven chaotic amid numerous delays.
The
film reteams "Any Given Sunday" and "Annie" co-stars Jamie Foxx and
Cameron Diaz, and marks Diaz's return to acting following an extended
hiatus.
- The Sun has
reported on an apparent scam attempt on Foxx, leading to the
termination of a crew member; the tabloid claims the actor had a "major meltdown" on set and fired multiple people.
- The Daily Mail has
suggested that Diaz will likely re-retire once more after completing
the film, both to avoid "drama and confrontation" and to spend more time
with her kid.
- "Baywatch" and "Identity Thief" vet Seth Gordon
co-wrote and directs the film, which also stars Andrew Scott, Jamie
Demetriou, and Glenn Close.
