Companies more committed to employee well-being

 



Companies are increasingly committed to supporting employee well-being, with 87% having a well-being initiative and 63% saying it's more important since 2020.  According to the AON Global Wellbeing Survey, 

 in North America, 70% say employee well-being is more important than in 2020 compared to 63% globally.

Companies' priorities for the next five years include employee well-being, attracting and retaining talent, and environmental, social, and governance issues.

  • The survey shows virtual and hybrid work support is among the top five employee well-being issues. 
    • Companies worldwide benefit from helping employees care for their "whole selves," building loyalty, productivity, resilience, and profitability.
  • Many organizations wonder how they can offer employees a sense of belonging without in-person interactions, noting that flexible working arrangements are vital to well-being.
  • 42% of companies rate their wellness programs as exceptional or above average, a 22% jump from 2020.

  • Funding for well-being initiatives varies by company, with 43% of companies saying they've increased investments and half allocating 2-5% of their benefits funding toward well-being.
