The outage happened at 05:56 AM on Sunday, Pacific time.
- At 07:56, Google released a statement that its engineers are investigating high latency and elevated errors in the eastern U.S.
- The issue, which is affecting locations such as South Carolina and Northern Virginia, has yet to be fixed by the company.
- At 21:34, Google stated that it was still attempting to fix a high latency that was affecting users during U.S. peak hours.
- The tech giant stated that it had fixed the issue for all affected users as of 20 March, 04:46 PDT.
