Hanna Andersson has launched a resale marketplace called Hanna-Me-Downs. 

The Portland-based children's apparel brand emphasized the environmental importance of the new project.

Hanna Andersson launched the new site in collaboration with retail technology company Archive.

  • The platform will allow sellers to use Hanna Andersson's descriptions, size charts, images, fabric information, and more for their listings.
  • "We have a sustainable product, and it's satisfying to know we've created a path to keep it on kids and out of landfills," Chief Sustainability Officer Jen Reed told Retail Dive.
  • Resale websites are a growing trend in the retail industry, and the subject dominated the National Retail Federation's annual conference in January.
  • Data released from a survey conducted by ThredUp and GlobalData indicates that the second-hand market will reach $82B in 2026.
