Hewlett Packard has acquired user authentication platform Axis Security for an undisclosed amount.   The company is based in San Francisco and Tel Aviv. Axis Security specializes in edge-to-cloud security services. Before being acquired, the company had raised around $100M in funding from investors such as:  Cyberstars, Ten Eleven, Canaan, and Spark Capital. The company offers Zero Trust Network Architecture as a tool to replace VPNs for enterprises, secure cloud network usage through CASBs, secure web browsing through its web gateway, etc.
