Hackers have allegedly stolen $4.2M from Visa-backed unicorn startup Flutterwave. 

The company has denied the claims.

  • 28 bank accounts involved in over 60 transactions have been frozen as a result of an ongoing investigation.
  • The company has denied claims that it was hacked, saying that no user has lost their funds from the intercepted security risk.
  • Flutterwave is Africa's largest startup. The company offers fintech services and is backed by investors such as Y-Combinator, Visa, Mastercard, etc.
