Amazon Studios signed a multi-year first look film deal with Imagine Entertainment, the company co-founded by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.
Amazon will get the first crack at the company's new narrative features and documentaries.
- Imagine had a previous film deal with Apple.
- Amazon
and Imagine collaborated on the upcoming documentary "Judy Blume
Forever," profiling the iconic YA author; it hits Prime Video on April
21.
- Imagine also produced the Thai cave rescue drama "Thirteen
Lives," which Howard directed; that was released by Amazon-owned MGM,
and streams on Amazon Prime.
