Japanese tech giant Fujitsu has filed a trademark application that covers a broad range of financial services, including crypto trading, hinting at its plans to expand to the crypto industry.
The application was filed on March 16.
Fujitsu’s new application was recently made public by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.
- The tech giant submitted the application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Other financial services in the application include money exchange, securities trading, insurance brokerage, and tax planning.
- In February, the company made another move toward Web3 space by announcing plans to create a Japan Metaverse Economic Zone in collaboration with nine other companies, including Mitsubishi.
