Levi Strauss & Co. is partnering with Lalaland.ai to develop AI models.
The technology would allow customers to see items on many different body types before making a purchase.
Levi's usually uses one human model per product on its app and website.
- The company will begin testing AI-generated models later this year.
- The models are being developed through a partnership with Dutch digital fashion studio Lalaland.ai.
- The models will be customizable by age, size, body type, and skin tone for online customers.
- Levi's said in the press release that "AI will likely never fully replace human models for us."
