The final suspect to be sentenced in relation to the so-called "Amazon bribery case" is set to appear before a court this week.
Ed Rosenberg faces charges alongside five alleged co-conspirators in relation to an illegal bribery scheme that made millions of dollars by illegally manipulating Amazon's e-commerce platform.
Rosenberg will appear before a federal judge for a change of plea hearing on March 30.
- The hearing comes more than two years after Rosenberg and five other suspects were charged with conspiracy and wire fraud.
- The charges relate to a bribery scheme that sought illegal benefits and insider information from Amazon employees.
- The conspirators helped their clients get reinstated on Amazon's e-commerce platform and orchestrated campaigns against their competitors.
- In one instance, the conspirators filed a false intellectual property complaint that resulted in one of their client's competitors being suspended from the Amazon Marketplace.
