Microsoft announced the general availability (GA) of Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Azure.

 

Microsoft announced the general availability (GA) of Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Azure.   This will facilitate the cloud migration process for Nutanix customers by eliminating the need for modification and retooling.  NC2 purport to simplify hybrid cloud deployments and management by extending a user’s on-premises environment to the cloud without app refactoring and retooling, thus saving customers time and costs.  Key features of NC2 include automatic, on-demand capacity scaling, flexibility and freedom to move applications, workloads, and software licenses across multiple clouds, intelligent cloud infrastructure, a consistent management plane/security model, and networking integration.  The GA of NC2 on Azure will enable customers to streamline and optimize disaster recovery, access on-demand capacity, and migrate and modernize their data centers.  NC2 on Azure is now GA in Australia East, South East Asia, East U.S., East U.S. 2, West U.S. 2, and North Central U.S. Azure regions. It can also integrate with AWS.
