Microsoft announced new artificial intelligence tools to handle repetitive business tasks.
The tech giant unveiled Dynamics 365 Copilot, an AI-powered suite of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
Microsoft is now offering the "Copilot" version of Dynamics 365, its business management platform, to automate some customer service, marketing, and sales tasks.
- This includes the ability for the AI assistant to write email responses, draft chat and email answers, and produce email summaries or Teams meeting in Outlook.
- Separately, Microsoft launched new AI features within its Power Platform, its low-code applications for developing apps, workflows, and more.
- For example, the AI Builder feature, which automates business workflows, has also added a new content generator.
Microsoft is also hosting a "Future of Work with AI" event on March 16, when it could demo new AI integration with Office apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- For example, AI in Outlook could be used to improve search results and suggest replies to emails.
- In Word, Microsoft is looking into how GPT technology could suggest alternative words and phrases while the user types.
