TigerGraph, a company specializing in chart database and chart analysis software, has announced new updates to its cloud-based graph database, TigerGraph Cloud.

 Version 3.9 of TigerGraph Cloud is equipped with new security, AI, and ML capabilities. 

A graph database is designed to store and navigate relationships efficiently between records and is often used to conduct fraud detection and power recommendation engines.  

  • TigerGraph Cloud launched in 2019 and is offered on several cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. 
  • The new platform features include the following: 
    • Enhanced data ingestion
    • Support for Parquet file format
    • Multi-edge support
    • An enhanced graph data science package
    • Improved DevOps support
    • Expanded Kubernetes functionality
    • Expanded collaborative editing and viewing capabilities on visual graph dashboards
  • The latest version is now generally available through the company's website
