Podcasters weigh in on ChatGPT

 

All podcasters (100%) and a majority of listeners (85%) say it's "ethical for podcasters" to use AI tools when creating content, according to an Acast survey.  The survey collected responses from 50 podcasters and about 300 listeners in the U.S.  Podcasters seem more likely to believe that these tools can be used sans limits: 84% of podcasters vs. 36% of listeners said so.  While 74% of podcasters think using AI tools like ChatGPT can make the content "much better," 37% of listeners said it can make it "slightly better."  Tommy Walters from Acast shares that while podcasters seem "ready to dive headfirst" with AI, listeners think these tools should "enhance ... human thinking."  View complete survey results here.
