PxE Holographic Imaging in action.
PxE Holographic Imaging has raised $5.4M in seed funding led by Koch Disruptive Technologies and M Ventures.
 The
funding adds to the company's initial pre-seed investment by M Ventures
and non-dilutive grants, bringing the total investment to $6.5M.
  - PxE's technology allows for a high-resolution color image, infrared image, and pixel-level depth map in a single snapshot.
- The
camera has 3x the light sensitivity of a standard camera and delivers
accurate depth data at distances ranging from micromoles to hundreds of
meters.
- PxE's approach to 3D imaging is passive and uses
white-light holography combined with a standard CMOS image sensor and
holographic optics.
- The holograms captured by the camera are
decoded in real-time using PxE's proprietary algorithm with a
computational footprint similar to a standard camera ISP.
- The
funding will allow PxE to accelerate its efforts and partner with more
customers to integrate their cameras' enhanced capabilities into their
products.
- PxE Holographic Imaging was established in 2019 by CEO Yoav Berlatzky and CTO Yanir Hainick.
