Linear shopping channels QVC and HSN now have live-streaming services provided by their parent company, Qurate.
The shift into live-stream shopping comes after Qurate announced plans to lay off 400 employees amid weak Q4 results.
Video commerce company Qurate Retail Group has launched its linear shopping channels QVC and HSN on the Redbox streaming app.
- QVC and HSN are the only two shopping channels currently available on the Redbox Free Live TV streaming service.
- The shopping networks join over 160 channels currently hosted on Redbox Free Live TV.
- The new offering comes as Qurate pursues its strategic initiative to widen the presence of its channels on digital platforms and new media.
