Silver Lake and CPP Investments, Canada's largest pension fund, are set to acquire software company Qualtrics for $12.5B.  

SAP was previously the company's largest shareholder.

  • Qualtrics provides enterprise software tools that help companies improve their customer experience and customer support.
  • The platform has over 18,000 customers and $1.4B in revenue.
  • Qualtrics was previously owned by German software giant SAP. The latter stated that the new leadership has the experience to extend Qualric's lead in its vertical.
  • The company has 28 offices globally, while it is headquartered in Seattle.
  • This funding was structured in both equity and debt.
