Toyota working with Yahoo on AR ad



Toyota is partnering with Yahoo to create a new multi-channel marketing campaign for the 2023 Toyota Crown. 

The "Says So Much" campaign will be centered around an augmented reality experience. 

  • The AR experience will allow consumers to scan a QR code, allowing them to take a 360° tour of the interior and exterior of the new car. 
  • The ads with the QR code will be distributed through digital out-of-home displays, banner ads, and connected TV advertisements. 
  • Yahoo's data shows that 80% of car shoppers are open to purchasing online and that AR can provide a more intimate experience for online car shoppers.
  • Walmart and Saks Fifth Avenue have previously worked with Yahoo on AR ad campaigns.
