In an effort to drive cloud cost efficiency and ROI for customers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced its new AWS Cloud Operations Competency.
This is part of the AWS Competency Program, which aims to connect customers with AWS partners that are technically validated and have a track record of customer success.
- The AWS Cloud Operations Competency enables customers to select validated partners based on their specific cloud-related needs.
- AWS
ensures that all validated partners provide comprehensive solutions for
five areas of the cloud: Cloud Operations, Cloud Governance, Cloud
Financial Management, Monitoring and Observability, Compliance and
Auditing, and Operations Management.
- Channel
partners that achieve this competency are said to be provided with
skills, marketing resources, and financial incentives.
- The
cloud giant says the five solution areas of cloud operations
are intended to help customers optimize and manage cloud costs, deliver
secure, scalable, and cost-efficient hybrid cloud environments, and
facilitate cloud migrations.
