Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced that 14 European and U.S. startups had been selected to participate in its third annual AWS Space Accelerator.
The program aims to harness the most innovative solutions that will enable the long-term sustainability of space operations.
- According to an AWS blog post,
participating startups must present ideas for applying cloud-based
solutions that support innovation and sustainability in the aerospace
sector.
- The accelerator officially begins this May and closes with an in-person Demo Day in July, held in San Francisco.
- The
2023 AWS Space Accelerator will be jointly delivered with TechConnect, a
global research and innovation event and media leader supporting
student, governmental, and global science and technology initiatives.
- Participating
startups will receive up to $100,000 in AWS cloud credits, mentoring
from space and technology experts with extensive AWS experience, and
networking opportunities with other startups, AWS customers, and AWS
Partner Network (APN) members.
