AWS selects 14 startups for 2023 Space Accelerator

Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced that 14 European and U.S. startups had been selected to participate in its third annual AWS Space Accelerator.

The program aims to harness the most innovative solutions that will enable the long-term sustainability of space operations.

  • According to an AWS blog post, participating startups must present ideas for applying cloud-based solutions that support innovation and sustainability in the aerospace sector.
  • The accelerator officially begins this May and closes with an in-person Demo Day in July, held in San Francisco.
  • The 2023 AWS Space Accelerator will be jointly delivered with TechConnect, a global research and innovation event and media leader supporting student, governmental, and global science and technology initiatives.
  • Participating startups will receive up to $100,000 in AWS cloud credits, mentoring from space and technology experts with extensive AWS experience, and networking opportunities with other startups, AWS customers, and AWS Partner Network (APN) members.
