eBay to launch 'Verified Condition' checkmarks

eBay is set to launch "Verified Condition."

The new suite of offerings and protections is intended to raise customer confidence in heavy equipment purchases.

"Verified Condition" will give eligible listings on eBay's heavy equipment-focused partner Bidadoo access to a checkmark symbol.

    • The symbol indicates that the product has been assessed by an authorized inspector.
    • It comes with a detailed condition report and a score based on a five-star rating system.
    • Items up to 20 years old will be backed by eBay's protections for equipment purchases, which cover products up to $200,000.
