Bed Bath & Beyond will lay off 1,300 employees in New Jersey.
The struggling retailer is working to consolidate its operations by reducing its store footprint.
- 572 people will be laid off in Port Reading on Tuesday, followed by 84 in Secaucus and 377 in Union.
- Bed Bath & Beyond's subsidiary Harmon beauty stores will lay off an additional 262 employees from April 1.
