Expedia announced that it is currently testing the use of ChatGPT in its mobile app.


 The integration will allow consumers to talk to ChatGPT through the Expedia app to get travel recommendations, tips, and insights.


    The new upgrade has unique features, such as tracking every hotel mentioned in the chat and saving them so consumers can revisit them later.

    Currently, the feature only works in English, but Expedia plans to release it in more languages.

    The company is warning that inaccurate or inappropriate responses are likely as it continues to test and refine the software.

    Expedia confirmed that its version of ChatGPT has been given additional first-party data with 1.26 quadrillion variables from which it makes its recommendations.
